SINOVO Newsletter 09/2009: SiDiary 6 released!

Hello [NAME],

after a long developing period and intensive beta tests we are proud to present the long-awaited version 6 of our diabetes software 'SiDiary', which is available in more than 20 languages. 

Besides an extensive optical enhancement and an obvious simplification to the handling we have also enhanced the functional range of this managment software. 
With 'user defined datatypes' every user has now the possibility to choose which parameters of the daily activities he wishes to track. Additionally he can mark every entry with a special event marker in order to use it as a filter for a statistic analysis. 

SiDiary doesn't only import almost all standard blood glucose meters but also insulin pumps from Accu-Chek, Animas, Medtronic and Smiths Medical. Additionally some blood pressure meters, pedometers and CGMS. 

In the over 18 months lasting developing period the ideas and wishes from our over 50.000 users were integrated into SiDiary. And of course the suggestions of our developers (all people with diabetes themselves) and engaged healthcare professionals/endocrinologists. 

The difference compared to other software is very clear: With other products it is often possible to import data from one manufacturer only. SiDiary breaks with this rule, so the user does not need to switch to another software, if he decides to change his meter or pump. 

SiDiary is as mobile as it's user. Since we don't only offer a PC program but a complete package with software for PC, Pocket PC and Smartphones with Windows Mobile and cell phones with Java. Additionally you can use your iPhone with a highly optimized version of our SiDiary Online tool (AppStore application will follow soon).

The nutrition data that comes with SiDiary are taken from the USDA (National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference Release 17).
